Here’s a summary of what’s been going on.
So I’m at home now, after a few weeks of lack of sleep and tiring schedules and such. The past month has been an absolute drag, with Mid terms that lasted two weeks, a trip to Lumut, and a 4 day camp in Taman Negara.
Mid term was as usual, fucked, but a partial improvement from April test. Well then again I didn’t hit the books at all for April test, but I did at least TRY to study for Mid terms. Hence, the slight improvement. Oh, I’m so proud of myself. Messed up my Addmath paper, but hey, no surprises there! Other than that, I guess I did alright.
The trip to Lumut was cool. We got to explore a real fighter ship with real Lieutenants on it doing stuff that looked really important and all. Made all of us want to sign up for the Navy, really :p
Taman Negara was alright. We got to sleep in the cave the first night there, called Gua Balai. We went absailing, cave exploring, night walking. And finally I realized how beautiful nature really is, only to be unappreciated by us humans. The next two nights were spent in tents in Taman Negara itself, which was pretty fun. We went Canopy Walking, and it was so fun seeing Tuck being scared the shit out of him. He’s afraid of heights (; Night jungle trekking was awesome, and so was rapid-shooting. Honestly, I never knew that a 20-minute speedboat ride could turn into a competitive game, and we ended up at the Orang Asli village SOAKING WET!
I’m too lazy to elaborate, which explains the brief post. But all in all, Taman Negara and Lumut was fun. Days definitely well spent.
6 more months in KYS, and counting.
